Children & Flower Essences

Children & Essences

Children & Essences....the perfect combination. Since children usually (hopefully) have so much less emotional baggage than adults do, this makes them so prepared to accept the healing qualities of the Essences almost instantaneously

Children love to refer to their Essences as "flower drops" & "magic drops" & "flower remedies". The gentleness of these names makes them feel safe and confident about taking their Essences. I encourage parents to allow children to call the Essences whatever they want, to encourage their eagerness.

Please read the definitions to your children. They may not understand the entire context of the meaning, but some part of the definition will resonate with them on their own level. It's even fun to have the child give their own definition for the Essence or Essences they are taking.

One of the incredibly beautiful aspects of Essences is how they teach us to take back our power and who to use this power in healthy ways. By giving your children Essences, you are giving them one of the greatest healing gifts of all; the awareness that they can create happy and healthy lives for themselves. Any and all of the Essences we offer are appropriate for children of all ages.

How should Essences be given to children?

Most Essences are preserved in brandy. If this is your concern, there are several other ways to administer them to your children. However, since the amount of brandy is so minute, I personally prefer to use Essences straight from the bottle. But, please use your own discretion and follow your intuition. Upon requests dosage blends can be preserved with vegetable glycerin.

1> Put the recommended drops into a glass of water, milk, juice or any other beverage your child enjoys.

2> Apply Essences topically by placing drops on your child's wrists, 3rd eye, crown chakra or any other chakra or energy center you feel is most effective and receptive.

3> Have your child hold the bottle in his hands until he or she feels "better" or no longer wants to hold the bottle.
