Treating Menopause Naturally

Essences to treat menopausal symptoms

Woman Essence Experience
My neighbor ( age 46) caught me in the yard one evening desperate for some relief from the onset of her menopausal symptoms. She felt she was "going crazy" because her brain wasn't working as it had! After she had explained all of her problems to me I felt that all 64 flowers would have been appropriate! As well as menopause symptoms she was uncomfortable with her weight, was a worry wart, bored with her husband, considering an affair, and was facing her one and only child leaving for college. I couldn't get muscle testing to work with her but with surrogate testing I found that Woman Essence was the best choice. What came next was more than interesting. I mixed up the combination, dropped seven drops under her tongue only to immediately see her gasp for breath, eyes roll back and I watched 'something' jump out of her heart area, run up underneath her shirt and exit out the neck. Needless to say after that I had use for the Space Clearing Essence. She returned the bottle a few weeks later and said she felt better, more calm but still wondered what had made her lose her breath like that. I felt it prudent to keep what I had witnessed to myself.

She Oak and hot flushes
I want to tell you about my experience with She Oak. I underwent a hysterectomy 8 years ago when I was 45, so did not have the usual signs of approaching menopause. However as time when by I began to have symptoms which may or may not have been menopause - depression headache, poor sleep. Then early last year when I was 52 the hot flushes began. They were not too bad - only a few a day, and I began taking She OakShe Oak. The flushes disappeared within a week. Foolishly I discontinued the She Oak. After several months the flushes returned. Again I took She Oak and again they disappeared within a week. This time they did not come back for 10 months but I was a bit lax and did not get back onto the She Oak. At first the flushes were mild but in time became quite uncomfortable. I was getting more than 20 a day and even though I did eventually get back onto She Oak they continued. They were of such intensity I felt I would pass out with the heat and just had to strip clothes off. I was a raging furnace for a couple of minutes every hour or more. I could not wear a sweater - a jacket was easier to take off and on more - but it became rather embarrassing as I work in an area where I am in regular contact with other people. I began to be disappointed because the essence was not working, but I continued to take it - mainly because I had made up a 50ml bottle and didn't want to waste it! And then suddenly one day after several weeks I realised that I had kept my jacket on all day. Over the next few days the flushes diminished quickly in frequency and in intensity until they disappeared altogether. I am sleeping better and my headaches seem to have improved. When I spoke to my mother about this she said that her hot flushes had continued for twenty years!! So this time I will not give up - the She Oak. I'll take it forever if necessary. It's a small price to pay to be rid of such dreadful discomfort.

Relief from Hot Flushes
For temporary relief of menopausal hot flushes I have used with several patients Mulla Mulla added to Emergency Essence - 7 drops twice daily and when required. This has relieved the flushing within 24 - 48 hours and carried them through until nutritional and herbal medicine supplements or other flower essences started to work.

Atrophic Vaginitis
A 53 year old menopausal woman presented with severe atrophic vaginitis which was making her life miserable. Homeopathic treatment that I had prescribed had little effect. So I made up Mulla Mulla drops for her to take internally and also put the drops into Sitz baths. I also made up Mulla Mulla into a Vitamin E cream and she applied this topically in the acute stages as often as desired. The effect was amazing - in 24 hours the swelling and burning of the vagina and labia had reduced by two thirds and was feeling much more comfortable than it had for several days before. She continued to use the drops internally twice daily, the sitz baths and the cream, and her genitals returned to normal colour, size and comfort. She is delighted with the outcome and should the condition flare up again will be able to start treatment without delay.

Menopausal Symptoms
Female patient almost through menopause. I had previously treated her with elimination diet and flower essences to ground her and to help her let go of grief and sadness following the death of her father. On her second visit she said she was still experiencing hot flushes, mood swings and erratic energy levels. I gave her Woman Essence, but added Bush Fuchsia for the hypothalamus and Yellow Cowslip Orchid for the pituitary gland to help balance the glands and so the hormones that they control. 10 days later she called me very excited to say amazing things were happening and she was remembering things that happened when she was a child. Then she proceeded to tell me all the things she was doing and planning to do. Then I asked how her menopause symptoms were going. There was silence and she surprisingly replied: "Really good - no hot flushes and more energy to get things done." She had virtually forgotten the menopausal symptoms. Her excitement and enthusiasm was very pleasing to hear.
